@Gaury16 It’s no question that, as a form of content marketing, video creation and editing are on the rise. People spend 2.6 times more time on sites with videos. If you are interested in helping businesses and brands make great videos, this is a great freelance skill to explore. Also, it’s your chance to exercise creativity in a fast-growing industry.

Sounds great! Can you also tell where to learn video editing skills and how much will this skill pay, if I pursue it for side income?

Well! Regarding how much income do freelance video editors generate, professional video editors charge between $50 to $150/hr. for hourly work, or you can set a flat monthly fee as per the market rates.

And for learning the skill, YouTube is a tremendous free resource!

Still, it may make sense to invest a small amount in a structured course, especially to learn a specific video editing software.

Cool! So basically, it’s all about the work I provide and my experience, which counts. It’s great that I can adjust the pricing according to my preference. I will look for courses regarding this. Thanks for your response.

@Gaury16 If you check out the google trends, there is a steady demand for writers, with interest spiking in 2021. I suggest you can try freelance content writing. The good news is you already know how to write, so you’re not starting from scratch here.

Still, there is a certain skill you would have to learn in writing content online that both readers and search engines love. Most freelance writers charge by word, anywhere from $0.05 to $1 per word. You can learn this course here: https://www.udemy.com/share/1013tw/

Apart from what my friends suggested, the most in-demand freelancing skills according to me are:

    1. Copywriting

    2. SEO Specialist

    3. Editing and Proofreading

    4. Graphic Design

    5. Web Development

    6. Social Media Marketing

    7. Sales and Business Development

Anyone would like to add anymore?

      Yes, @Ishaan

Can you get paid to talk? Well! There’s a little more to it than that. If reports are to be believed, voice-over artists are in demand. It’s more complicated than it looks, but the need for voice-over work is growing 10-15% per year. So, I would like to count this as an in-demand skill.
