How can we target the right audience through social media marketing? As many e-commerce and tech giants are reaching the customer according to their search history. But being a startup how can we crack the right customer/audience?

Hi @akashshukla . Data is the new marketing science. Big companies receive a lot of user-generated data and they analyze these data with the help of data analysts or data science experts. However, as you said what can startups do to follow the same technique.
I suggest now would be a great time to incorporate UTM codes into social posts, either manually or using a social media management platform like Hootsuite. This will allow you to gather information about who clicks on your content using Google Analytics.

I agree with your point that big companies are using data from customers search history to build their audience base. Startup’s too can make use of data.
If you are an entrepreneur, and your website or product is being liked by your target audience you can hire data scientists who can make use of info such as e-mail addresses, how many customers got deviated from the landing page, how many of them searched for your product but didn’t purchase it. There are also several tools which can help you collect data at a minimal cost.
